Lesson 7

Lesson 7: In this lesson I presented my Groundhog Day idea to the class, I then watched the rest of the class present their idea for the remake of Groundhog Day. This gave me many ideas as to what things I could do for my own pre title sequence, as there were many different aspects of how best to go about doing a pre title sequence for a British remake of a Hollywood movie. This particular lesson gave alot of ideas on how to go about making a title sequence; by sitting and listening to other people’s ideas for their title sequence showed me that, you can go about making a title sequence in many different ways. The lesson also benefited me in regards to, presentation skills and confidence, as I was able to present my piece of work to the class and take in the response of the audience. It gave me the benefit on finding out what the audience had to say about my idea, and perhaps suggest any correction or new ideas; that could possible improve the idea.

In the second half of the lesson, we started to brainstorm our ideas for a new film that we could make a title sequence for. This was great timing as I was itching to share my ideas and notes on what I could do, for my pre title sequence; such as little ideas and aspects on how to go about making the title sequence. One of my ideas was, making an animated title sequence; that doesn’t have to be done on the computer, but could be drawn (sketched).
